The charge last at least 15 hours or so. Charges quick. So, having 3 rechargeable batteries, I never have to play w/ a cord or by new batteries.
I wish I had noticed this and returned it for a fresh new workign one when I received it. I was very excited about this battery charger, but only recently have I noticed that only one charging side lights up and works. I guess as long as one side works the product will be OK, but it is very unfortunate that only 50% of this device works.
You won't be able to hear the annoying high pitch whine over the jet engine roar of the 360 itself, but when you power down the system it will be there.Other than that, this is a great product. But I unplug mine when not in use, which is inconvenient.
I highly recommend this product. With this accessory I no longer have to do this. I can't believe I went all these years without this accessory. Before this accessory when my battery died I had to hard wire my controller to my 360 so it could charge which defeats the purpose of having wireless controllers. I have two batteries with this setup so I always have fresh batteries ready to go.
It turns from red to green once charging is complete. The batteries click into place and a small light comes on confirming its charging. The only thing that would of been nice is if it came with two batteries since you pull the battery out of the controller to charge so you really need two (one to use while ones on the charger). Not much to say really on this product. It feels solid and quickly charges up to two batteries. The base has some weight to it and it feels like its well built, not super cheap thin plastic.
